Obesity problem




  1. Obesity is an increasing health problem in some parts of the world. Explain some possible reasons for this problem, and suggest some solutions

    Obesity nowadays increasingly becomes a health issue in a number of countries and areas in the world. There are some causes for this problem, but there are also some feasible solutions to combat it.  

    The first reason can be from the eating habit of people in the modern world. People tend to eat a lot of junk foods, processed foods which are full of food additives that cause overweight. These types of foods have some attractive properties (fast, aromatic, eye-catching, …) give rise to the increase of consumption, especially for children. On the other hand, the lack of physical activities is also a possible reason for the problem mentioned. Many working people are under pressure of their demanding works in the hectic pace of life. So, playing sports or doing exercises are increasingly get rid of people's routines that cause the accumulation of fat in biochemistry. Moreover, children are likely to live by sedentary lifestyle which is easy to gain weight. 

    Although the problem nowadays is more and more serious in the world, there are some feasible solutions to tackle it. First, people should intensively go on diet with healthier and nutritious foods. A balanced diet ensures provide enough energy while preventing excessive fat. People should also learn to eat in moderation and keep track of their own portion sizes. Second, playing sport should be placed as an essential part of people’s schedule on daily basis to burn calories and keep body fit. 

    It is worth noting that there are many reasons leading to obesity in the modern world, but people can pay their attention to eating habit and doing exercise to prevent the problem.
